Doomed

Another step up the evolutionary ladder and down the social scale.

No questions on this topic, like ‘What is civilization?’ We have enough questions in recent posts with much more to follow.

All the above mentioned civilization’s were doomed before they started. However they lived, they prospered. They excelled in many things they created art beauty then ugliness and decay then vanished or were themselves absorbed into something new or bigger or just different then they followed more or less the same path. They were doomed in the classical sense.

Today

I was born in an ancient city, but my heritage is even more ancient.

So ancient there is little to no hint of us in the histories of the great civilizations.

We turn up from time to time as our concept of time is inconsequential in the scheme of things. We usually arrive before the transition from one age to the next. Or in times of great stress and social upheaval.

Times like the present.

Doom Preppers

There are literally millions of Preppers and survivalist individuals and cells worldwide. Sensing the types of things i write about. Being prepared in case these things come to pass in their lifetimes.

Good, bad, indifferent, Whatever will be will be. You may delay events but you can only deflect change over a long period. The pendulum will do its thing regardless.

New directions and courses can be set but these generally happen from within the current structures and influences of humanity. Only massive change can be effected from the outside. Having said that events and conditions must still be conducive to this cause and effect.

Invasions and enslavement may cause change instantly and set a new cause but not for all. Resentment causes the changes to become harsher or fail as with the communist experiments of the 20th century.

The west responded with harsh interference which ultimately failed. Whereas the changes moderated over time and became less harsh for all concerned more than likely ending up where they would have been without external interference in the first place. If you hadn’t guessed im talking Southeast Asia during the 60s and 70s
